To coincide with the fourteenth annual official Zero Waste Week campaign, we were asked to help launch the first Zero Waste Indonesia Festival.
The organisers gathered together an audience of over 12,500 attendees and delegates including government members, experts, industry players, public figures, communities, content creators, musicians, and artists as well as zero waste organizations from several countries to raise awareness about environmental issues and provide guidance for people to take steps to reduce waste across the globe.
Anna was invited to introduce their audience to the story behind Zero Waste Week in the UK at their “Zero Waste lifestyle for Global Movement’ webinar. They wanted to know more about the journey from back in 2008 ’til today, more about the challenges we face and the solutions we provide, along with a message of hope about this movement.
Maurilla Imron, Founder of Zero Waste Indonesia said “We are delighted to announce that our festival went smoothly and extremely well. This, of course, can’t be done without your assistance! Anna conveyed very insightful tips and tricks for people who were just starting a zero-waste lifestyle. Without her support, the first zero-waste online festival in Indonesia would not be possible. Once again we appreciate your contribution to enliven our very first event 🙂”
