When is Zero Waste Week 2022 and how can you take part?

Zero Waste Week 2022, takes place 5th-9th September.

If you sign up to the mailing list, you’ll get daily emails, outlining the overall theme, topic for the day and a daily challenge. Plus access to a fantastic article each day, packed with researched information.

Here’s are some ideas:

• Talk to people! There are opportunities at the watercooler, over lunch, at a social event or even in a supermarket queue to start a conversation and show, by example, how people can make a difference.
• On this page you’ll find some free tools – images, logos, downloadable posters and social media update suggestions for you to copy and paste online – use them on your blog, website or social media channels.
• Host a film screening. I was in ‘Trashed’ with Jeremy Irons, talking about waste and sustainability. Find a movie that covers any aspect of waste and hold a discussion or Q&A afterwards.
• Organise a beach clean, litter pick or plastic free coffee morning in your local community. Invite local press to help spread the word further
• Share your stories across social media with the #ZeroWasteWeek hashtag. Join the friendly Facebook group,  or follow me on Twitter
• Sign up to the mailing list. Each day you’ll get access to lots of information but a daily challenge which you can do alone or with friends, family and colleagues.
• Donate! Your generous donations enable me to create more resources to have greater positive impact.
• Host an event during 5th-9th September. In the past participants have held workshops on everything from sewing on a button to mending toasters to cooking up a feast made from food which might otherwise have been wasted.
• Schedule Anna to come and talk to your school or workplace at any time during the year. Our range of talks and workshops will leave your audience feeling inspired and ready to take action.
